In 2004, PT. Pilar Bahtera Mandiri established the company in Jakarta, Indonesia. From the beginning we decided to focus in pump business including engineering design, supply, construction and repair.

In 2007 PT. Pilar Bahtera Mandiri was appointed as Sole Agent of AKAY Pumps from Akay Industries BV for Indonesia territory. Akay Industries BV is a pump manufacturer located in The Netherlands. Akay have a very wide range of centrifugal pumps starting from small general-purpose water pumps up to pumps according API 610.
